The Sorrento Hotel Dream Wedding Venue

The Sorrento Hotel is a Seattle landmark that is easily recognizable for its European charm. Anyone who has ever walked past the Sorrento can immediately sense that its feel comes from a different era, a time when elegant men and women were dropped off by shining black taxi cabs in front of lovely porticos.

Indeed, the Sorrento was built in 1909, just in time for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. Centrally located in the First Hill neighborhood, within walking distance to many of Seattle’s main attractions, the Sorrento is considered one of the top 25 US hotels by Conde Nast magazine.

The Sorrento also happens to be the venue that the Bailors chose for their dream wedding. Recommended by Travis and Jesse of True Colors Event Planning, the Sorrento Hotel ended up being the only location that the Bailors needed to see.

The Bailors Outside of the Hotel Sorrento

“We looked at myriad hotels online,” Jonathan told us, ”but the first and only hotel we visited was The Sorrento…. Once we walked in the doors, we were swept away by the classic and intimate feeling that personifies the Sorrento Hotel.”

Inside the Ceremony

The Bailors highly recommend the Sorrento Hotel as a venue for other couples who are getting married in the Seattle area. Warm colors, lush surroundings, a central location, and superior service make the Sorrento a preferred venue among Seattlites in the know.
